Senior
exercise Program

This group started post Covid and has become not only an exercise group but a group of friends, sharing a lot of life’s ups and downs, laughter and support for each other. One lady came to us using a walker, has graduated to using a cane and now looks forward to “no cane either.” Right now it is a group of women, but men are always welcome! (we have had a few)

There are 2 classes. The first one at 8:30 AM, where all exercises are done standing up behind a chair for support. The main focus is on balance and strength. The second class is at 9:30 where all the work is done sitting in a chair. It is generally focused on moving all those joints, from ankles to wrists.  All exercises are quite gentle and easy to do. Each person can set their own limits and participate as much as they feel comfortable.

Come join the fun and feel good about yourself. We use weights, balls and bands, which are all provided for you. There are no mats or floor exercises! The groups ages range from about 65 to 85 – but any age is welcome. Our instructor,, is a fun, lively and interesting person.

All are welcome!  Come try out both classes.  The first classes are free and then you can decide if you want to or can do both classes or just one is right for you.  Several only do one class, several do both classes each day. The charge for one class is $10/month. The charge for both classes is $20/month.

 

Just come and get those muscles and joints awakened (and improve your balance!)  It is truly good for you and you will have fun too!
