Pastor Debra Stevens, known to many as Pastor Deb, serves as the Lead Pastor of Evansburg United Methodist Church in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and Otterbein United Methodist Church in Mont Clare, Pennsylvania. She has faithfully served both congregations for the past four years and will begin her fifth year in ministry as a pastor in July 2026.
Deb began her journey in Christian ministry in 1999 as a Christ Servant Minister and became a certified Lay Minister in 2013. After years of dedicated service, she felt called by God to pastoral ministry and answered that call with a deep passion for serving others. She continues to find great joy and purpose in her work and is grateful to serve the communities entrusted to her care.
Raised in the Catholic Church, Deb and her husband later sought a church home where they both felt a strong sense of belonging. After visiting several congregations, they found that home in the United Methodist Church in 1981, where her faith and calling to ministry were nurtured.
Deb has been married to her husband, Lester, for over 50 years. Together, they have two sons, Matthew and Joshua, both successful business owners, and three beloved grandchildren: Noah, Kaelyn, and Jonah.
Pastor Deb is known for her compassionate leadership, strong faith, and commitment to building welcoming, Christ-centered communities.
