Children Learning in Christ's Kingdom
"Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray." Proverbs 22:6
Come join in the fun at CLICK, our free children’s program that meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month (except August) from 10AM to 12PM. CLICK is an acronym for Children Learning in Christ’s Kingdom. This program, open to children of all ages, is a morning of fun filled activities, crafts, STEM exploration, story time and games, all based on a monthly theme and scripture. A snack is also provided.
Parents are asked to complete a registration form for each child upon attending and are welcome to stay or drop off and pick up at noon. Many of our parents who stay choose to participate along with their children. Others stay and watch or sit and relax in our registration area. Parents can choose whichever option works best for them.
The CLICK program originated at Evansburg in 2006 as an alternative to the traditional Vacation Bible School program for children. We found it was a good fit for many of our community families. Pam Sepnefski is the CLICK coordinator and is assisted by Pastor Deb Stevens and a staff of church volunteers. Evansburg United Methodist Church is a certified Safe Sanctuaries location.
