“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

Evansburg United Methodist Church is a small church with a very large heart! You can feel the love and compassion that we share by the depth and breadth of our ministries.

Christian Education

Evansburg United Methodist Church is dedicated to helping members and the local community study and learn the Word of God so that we may all become disciples who help to spread the love of Jesus Christ.

Outreach & Missions

“Love thy neighbor as thyself.” Mark 12:31

Evansburg United Methodist Church reaches out to the local community, region, and the world to help those in need and to bring people to Christ. We are often blessed to live in abundance and peace and are compassionate that other people may often struggle. We try to give generously of our time, efforts and money to those with earthly and spiritual needs.

United Methodist Men

Evansburg UMC has a United Methodist Men (UMM) group that provides fellowship for the men of our congregation.

The mission of UMM is to support spiritual growth among men, helping men to mature as disciples as they encourage spiritual formation in others.

They also work to raise money for the church and other organizations and help to keep Evansburg UMC in working order.

Evansburg UMM meets for breakfast and fellowship every other month at a local restaurant at 9AM.

Interfaith/Ecumenical

Our church belongs to the Collegeville-Trappe Ministerium, a group of churches that work together to overcome denominational barriers and raise money for local persons in need.

During Lent these churches take turns having Wednesday evening services so that members can meet each other and appreciate different styles of worship.
